How does GCN fuel your passion?
Before college, Kailee lived in a tiny town with limited volunteer opportunities. Conversely, once she began higher education at the University of Denver, volunteer opportunities were endless, and many times mandated by professors. As she began volunteering more around the city of Denver, her view on controversial topics such as homelessness, alcoholism, and the education of children with special needs molded a life philosophy centered around teaching and learning. As Kailee prepares for her roles as a future teacher in the public school system, she believes it is very important to help guide students to become flourishing global citizens. In order to practice what she plans to preach to students about being involved within the global community, she decided to join Global CaféNation. The company has provided Kailee with the necessary experience and knowledge concerning the complexity of raising economies in developing countries.
In addition to incorporating volunteer opportunities and applicable life situations relating to social reconstruction into her future teacher's curriculum, Kailee wants to continue sharing educational opportunities. She cares about the education of others whom she may never lay eyes on. Global CaféNation seeks to provide young citizens in developing countries with an education and an opportunity to lift themselves out of limited circumstances. As a firm believer in the company mission, her heart is set upon providing a better life for the children sponsored as they become business professionals seeking higher standards of living. As Kailee continues to facilitate the learning of children all over the world, she continues to smile and continues to work with Global CaféNation.
Favorite Coffee
Ohhhh, how Kailee loves all our coffee selections! However, her favorite coffee is the Ethiopian Harrar. The first time she had a cup of this coffee, she instantly knew that the company had to offer it. Kailee loves this for its mild taste and hint of blueberry flavor. Kailee finds the fruity tang refreshing and unexpected. Take her word for it; everyone will love the distinct zest of Ethiopian Harrar!
Favorite Origin
The long history and mere fact that the birthplace of coffee stems from Ethiopia is reason enough for Kailee to pick it as her favorite origin of coffee. Another reason that Kailee enjoys this origin is for the close connections with the company mission. Smaller families in Ethiopia have largely contributed to the coffee market, and as a fellow entrepreneur Kailee cares about these farmers’ families and how they relate to Global CaféNation.
